Thank you to the amazing Craig's cabin Community Volunteers this week will be a journeying a little further from our regular walks and we will be exploring Battle great wood.
Battle Great Wood, just outside the historical town of Battle, famous for the Battle of Hastings, is a great place to get lost for a few hours. The tracks, which are wide and well managed, are easy to walk. The planting is mostly conifer trees and the wood is used by horse riders and cyclists, so take care. A great place to leave troubles behind and just wander.
