SJSW Open Mic with Cheney Emberg

We are so back!!

After a somewhat longer than normal break, SJSW is exicited to welcome everyone back to the LSPU Hall for another open mic night. This month's feature reader is Cheney Emberg, and honestly who better to welcome us back?

Cheney Emberg (they/she/he) is a writer/ director/ actor/ comedian/ collager from Houston, Texas. They have a B.A in Liberal Arts (Theatre, English, and Philosophy). Most recently, they performed their play-- My Parents Are Swingers In Florida So They're Letting Me Watch The House-- to a spellbound, smitten, and overall completely freaked-out-obsessed audience at the most bad ass bar in the entire world, Linda's Inn of Olde. They are a proud Linda's regular and enjoy singing Tom Waits on Sundays.
