Home Heating Town Hall

Constituents are invited to attend an upcoming town hall hosted by MHA’s Jim Dinn (St. John’s Centre) and Sheilagh O’Leary (St. John’s East-Quidi Vidi) to discuss the skyrocketing cost of home heating and the growing impact it is having on households across the province.

The town hall will provide a space for residents to share how rising heating costs are affecting them and to work together on identifying solutions. The discussion will focus on both short-term measures to help families manage immediate costs, such as removing the HST from all forms of home heating, and long-term strategies to improve affordability and energy security.
