Nora has a secret, and she'll do anything to keep it.
Capacity Theatre's new adaptation reimagines Henrik Ibsen's classic play A Doll's House as a modern, queer story examining autonomy and power. This production brings together a love of unconventional venues, classic theatre, and queer stories for an unmissable show featured a powerhouse cast of local performers.
DOLLY'S HOUSE asks how struggles of power and autonomy can corrode relationships outside of traditional gender norms. For fans of the original, it plays with a familiar story to uncover tantalizing questions that reframe Ibsen's narrative. And for those coming fresh, it offers a dramatic, tense, cathartic look at the issues of today's queer community.
