Get ready to be swept away by Boundless Energy, the NSO’s season-opening Masterworks concert on September 26, 2025 at 8pm at the Arts & Culture Centre, conducted by the electrifying Julien Proulx and presented by the City of St. John’s as part of the NSOs Masterworks Series.
Internationally acclaimed Greenwich Trio—violinist Lana Trotovšek, cellist Heather Tuach, and pianist Yoko Misumi—joins the NSO for Beethoven’s Triple Concerto, a dazzling display of virtuosity and ensemble brilliance. Add to that Restless Oceans by contemporary composer Anna Clyne, a bold and evocative work pulsing with rhythm and urgency.
Then, hold on tight as the NSO unleashes Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, a joyful, folk-infused masterpiece bursting with energy, lyricism, and Bohemian charm.
From Beethoven’s classic fireworks to Clyne’s modern edge and Dvořák’s exuberant melodies, this concert lives up to its name—overflowing with boundless musical momentum. A thrilling start to the season that promises power, passion, and unforgettable performances.
