Ben Rollo & Sydney Jones @ Block Three Brewing

Ben Rollo and Sydney Jones are independent Kitchener based musicians who have been collaborating since early 2024. They frequently perform at local spots including White Rabbit Waterloo, The Registry Theatre, and many City of Kitchener events. Sydney has been featured in Ben's Homegrown Series at The Registry Theatre several times. In January 2025, Ben and Sydney co-wrote and released their song "Waiting For You to Call" which has already surpassed 10k streams on Spotify!

Ben Rollo is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, drummer and singer-songwriter. Ben blends alt-country with soul and is known for his signature groove, emotionally engaging performances and sophisticated songwriting. Ben recently released 3 new original songs, "Long Wave”, "Where Were You” and "Lucky Ones”, with a 4th on the way! His previous works have been played on CBC radio and over twenty major radio stations across Canada. He’s co-written songs with Juno nominated artists Peter Katz and Giselle Sanderson. Ben has also performed drums with Steven Page, Danny Michel, Lucky Peterson, Steve Strongman, Rob Szabo, Matt Schofield, Kevin Breit, Jordan John, Matt Weidinger, Lance Anderson, Dione Taylor and more (including Sydney Jones!).

Sydney Jones is an Elmira, Ontario native now living in Kitchener. She captures her unmistakable style in her debut 2025 EP “Not My People,” recorded by JUNO award-winning producer Rob Szabo that will be released in full in fall 2025. The first single "Not My People" will be out July 24th. Sydney has found her voice marked by raw, heartfelt lyrics, and unapologetic honesty. She weaves together indie and pop genres with a core of alternative country, and folk roots. In 2024, Sydney opened for Canadian artists Ariel Posen, and Glenn Milchem (Blue Rodeo), and shared lineups with Bahamas, Tim Baker, Danny Michel, Christine Bougie, and Steve Strongman to name a few. Prior to 2024, Sydney led indie-folk band Jones + The Jackpines, whose 2021 EP "Spectrum" features 5 of Sydney’s original songs.
