Beginning Metalsmithing & Jewelry Making Workshop

Interested in making jewelry? Do you want to learn the basics of metalsmithing? Then this is the course for you! This 5-Day course will teach design basics, metal cutting & piercing, different surface finishing techniques, soldering, and cabochon stone setting. Using these techniques, students will design and create a unique piece of jewelry. The best part? There is an option to purchase a Basic Studio Kit that provides the tools and supplies you need to start your home studio!

$399; + Material Fee: $79 Paid to Instructor

Ages 15+

Optional $199 Basic Studio Kit (Paid directly to the instructor. Students will keep all kit tools and materials) Kit includes: Textbook, bench pin & clamp, jewelers saw frame, saw blades, needle files, butane torch, fume extractor, flux, solder, solder cutting pliers, soldering block, solder pick, cross lock tweezers, and bezel pusher.
