Morning Tefillin Boost ~ Federal Holidays ~ St. Charles

Start your morning by wrapping tefillin with our L'Chaim Society ~ St. Charles Jewish Men's Club, followed by a light breakfast and schmooze. Tefillin and instructions available; no experience necessary. RSVP required.

Mon, Nov. 11, 2025 (Veterans Day)

Tefillin, worn by Jewish men, are a pair of black leather boxes containing Hebrew parchment scrolls. A set includes two—one for the head and one for the arm. Each consists of three main components: the scrolls, the box and the strap.
Tefillin is an incredibly powerful mitzvah. The experience of putting on tefillin has changed many people’s lives.
