How can we work together to make this reality?

Mark your calendars…on Saturday, October 25, 2025 the Town of Saint Andrews’ Age-Friendly Community Committee invites residents of all ages to an open session to try to answer that question.

Saint Andrews Age Friendly Community Committee is sponsoring “A Day for the Ages”, an event that will seek to engage youth, adults and seniors to cooperatively gather a variety of information and ideas to explore the ways we can continue to create an interactive age friendly community in which all of our members can have a positive impact and live healthy, active and independent lives.

The format of the day will be very informal. It follows an approach known as Open Space Forum which is a free flowing and inclusive process. It will be guided by an experienced facilitator. It promises to be an inspiring process, resulting in some surprising insights and results. In true Maritime tradition, there will be food, door prizes and most likely some laughter as the group works to develop its ideas and create action items.

A Day for the Ages Forum will be held Saturday, October 25th from 10 am to 3 pm at the W. C. O’Neill Arena Complex, 24 Reed Ave., Saint Andrews. Doors open at 9:30 am
