Sip & Stitch with The Fabric Folk

✨ Sip & Stitch at The Pioneer Club, St Albans ✨

We've teamed up with The Fabric Folk to help you give your clothes a second life and your evening a creative twist! Join us for a relaxed, friendly night of visible mending and decorative hand stitching — perfect for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike.

In this cosy class, you’ll learn simple yet beautiful techniques like running stitch and creative patching to transform worn or plain clothes into something special. Bring along a beloved garment you’d like to repair or personalise — maybe a pair of jeans that need patching, or a shirt that could do with a unique flourish. We recommend non-stretchy fabrics (like linen, cotton or denim) for the best results.

At the end of the night, you’ll head home with a stitched patch or repaired piece to be proud of — plus new skills and inspiration to keep mending and creating.

And because creativity pairs best with a good drink, your ticket includes a complimentary glass of prosecco, wine, pint of beer, or soft drink of your choice.
