We will be making a welcome return to Porthtowan (in the heart of “the badlands”) this Saturday. I know how many of you loved it last time we were there and with the current heatwave it’s going to fantastic to get in the water.
According to Surfline it’s only a 1 to 2ft wave but poor to fair conditions have never stopped us before and I’m sure we will all be able to find a couple of nuggets no matter whether we are inside or out the back. And if it’s flatter than we think then there’s always the chance to chat under a blazing sun.🌞
As usual at this busy time of year we will be meeting early. I suggest 8.30ish with a view of getting in the water by 9. We will meet in the big Council car park on the right hand side as you drive into the village.
Hoping to see as many bellyboarders, hand planers, mat riders, paipo riders, coffin lid cruisers and tray surfers as possible. With sky high temperatures and great company why wouldn’t you want to join us for what promises to be an amazing Slide.
As always we don’t care what type of craft you ride or who made it as us Western Sliders just wanna have fun!!!
