Join eco-photographic artist Josie Purcell to mix the magic of nature with the magic of unfixed Lumens. You will be repurposing expired black and white photo paper to create colour imprints of natural and found objects, then adding a touch of digital manipulation using free-to-use photo apps to add your artistry to the process. The session encourages creative joy as an act of resilience in the face of challenging environmental times, and sparks conversations and curiosity about how photography can help to address eco-anxieties.
My eco-conscious creativity is driven by our place within the natural world and our relationship with natural resources. My work is often rooted in abstract forms to investgate new ways of seeing and responding to environmental matters such as climate change or water quality. The purpose of my photographic art is to create curiosity and spark conversations about diverse environments and the human impact on them.
If you have access requirements, get in touch to discuss, we want to see you at our events.
