2025 Optimist International Oratorical World Championships

Optimist International and Saint Louis University have partnered to host the 10th Annual Optimist International Oratorical World Championships at Saint Louis University on July 17-18, 2025.

Each Optimist District has the exciting opportunity to send their 1st place District Oratorical winners to St. Louis to compete with the winners of the Districts in their geographic Region.

The winners from each Region will receive a scholarship of $5,000.
All nine winners of the World Regional Contests will be eligible to compete in the World Championship Contest which provides scholarship awards for first, second, and third place of $15,000, $10,000, and $5,000, respectively.

All Scholarships are funded by the Optimist International Foundation and the Canadian Children’s Optimist Foundation. Their support allows Optimist International to continue this great program since its start in 1928.
