West Marina Partnership: To all clubs and organisations
A new group, West Marina Partnership, has been set up to coordinate and encourage a town-wide, community-led response to ensure the Old Bathing Pool Site is developed for the benefit of the whole community. We see a successful development of this site as key to the regeneration of both West St Leonards and Hastings Borough. So, obtaining the best solution possible is in all our interests, and we ask that a representative or group from your organisation or club attends to demonstrate your support. It is only an hour of your lives but could impact generations to come!
Our first public meeting will be held on:
Sunday 27 April from 2-4pm at Marina Park, Seaside Road TN38 0AQ.
There will be two sessions 2-3pm & 3-4pm, each with an opening address. Afterwards, you will have an opportunity to discuss some of the ideas already in circulation and to better understand how the planning process works. In attendance will be members of one of these organisations: West St Leonards Neighbourhood Forum, Save Our Bathing Site, or Hastings Urban Design Group, and they will be delighted to discuss the options available further.
Everyone is welcome, anyone interested in representing a group, a street, a club, a business or a neighbourhood from anywhere in this wonderful town of ours please come and say hello.
As part of their ‘community engagement’ the developers, County Gate, will unveil their plans:
Tuesday 29 April from 3 – 7pm at Electro Studios, Seaside Road TN38 0AL
