Grand Manan Red Trail

Start Summer of right with a 40 kilometre backpacking expedition on Grand Manan's Red Trail. Meet at Boston Pizza parking lot for car pooling at 10AM, Friday June 20th. We will then proceed to Blacks Harbour to catch the 13:30 ferry. Friday night we will stay in Anchorage Provincial Park.

The hike will start on Saturday at the Southwest Head Lighthouse and proceed along the west coast of the island to the Long Eddy Point Lighthouse then turn southeast finishing at the Swallowtail Lighthouse. This will take 2 to 3 days.

There are 4 return ferry times available on Sunday and 7 on Monday when the Summer schedule begins.
