Rita Kyle
Singing since she was a child, longtime local Rita has a keen ear for harmonies and loves to make music with others. Once her sister gifted her with a guitar at 40 she has learned to accompany herself, taught music, run jams and written and arranged in a number of groups. Still working on bass and percussion, she also sings in Bluesberry Jam Showband and The Delibles.
Sam Sinanan
Samantha Sinanan is a singer/songwriter who has called Squamish home since 2013. She grew up on Vancouver's North Shore and has been singing and performing in a variety of capacities since the age of 6. She is proud to be part of the Squamish-based Bluesberry Jam Showband in addition to leading an original folk/country/blues project called Cowgirl Lovebrand, who can be found playing locally and abroad. Georgia Lee Johnson
Georgia’s songs weave intimacy and belonging where there was previously conflict and unease. Dancing between deep self-reflection and playfulness, her songs’ themes carry depth and resonance. Inspired by the female folk singer-songwriters of the past (Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez) and present (Anais Mitchell and Adrianne Lenker), her style blends more traditional folk sounds with imaginative instrumentation and arrangements. In her live performances, she harnesses vocal freedom to carry both power and vulnerability. Audiences are gathered into a brief moment of connectedness, harmony and remembering.
