Off-The-Beaten-Path Hike

Go off the beaten path in the Big Thicket!

Explore lesser-known areas with a ranger and uncover some scenic and historical sites in the preserve.

LOCATION: Canyonlands Unit. Get detailed directions when you reserve your spot.

The hike is free. Long pants and closed-toe shoes recommended. Participants must be capable of hiking independently for over 4 miles, off trail. Inclines, fallen trees, and shallow water crossings are all challenges that must be navigated on this trek.
