Because of the Changes to the Static Monsters Competition format, Where the Worldwide qualifiers will be in February, and the World Championships in the Summer, there will not be an official Worldwide this year.
I (James) have been approached by a number of people asking If I would do something in its place as a sort of closeout to the the year (With the exception of the OSG folks ;) ).
SO, If I can get enough folks signed up, we'll put on a comp, doing the same lifts as Static monsters, with the same rules and judging, in the same supportive environment we strive for every year, with some great food and Pints at Ravenwolf brewing afterwards!
Each lift will be done in 3 rising bar rounds each, starting with the log lift, and finishing with the 18" axle bar deadlift.
We're doing this on the 18th to give people a couple weeks after nationals, as well as a couple weeks before the Halloween deadlift party at United.
