Top To Toe 5K

Kick off Mineral and Gem Festival week with the 2nd annual Top to Toe 5K! Hosted by the Mitchell County Chamber and headline sponsor Quartz Corp, the Top to Toe is an adventurous descent from the top of a quartz mine to the Finish Line Festival on Lower Street in Downtown Spruce Pine.

Built for record chasers and families alike, this course begins at The Quartz Corp’s Chalk Mountain and ends on Lower Street in Downtown Spruce Pine where our amazing local businesses are coming back post Helene. The Finish Line Festival will welcome you to the finish line in downtown Spruce Pine with vendors, food and fun post race scavenger hunts through out downtown area.

The race proceeds benefit Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce, NC Mineral and Gem Festival. Each registered participant receives one free admission ticket to the NC Mineral and Gem Festival as well as a t-shirt!
