Yosakoi (Japanese Festival Dancing) Beginners Class

Join us for a beginner-friendly yosakoi dance session—no experience required.

Yosakoi is a high-energy Japanese group dance that combines simple choreography with rhythmic clappers called naruko. In this session, you’ll learn how to use naruko, pick up a complete introductory routine, and get started on another group dance (sou odori).

It’s a fun and accessible way to move your body, try something new, and meet some great people. All skill levels and physical abilities are welcome.

Beginner class is $5. Space is limited, so tickets are required.
