Understanding Dogs: From First Impressions to Final Decisions

Join us for a day dedicated to advancing canine care in sheltering through behavior-focused training. This session features expert-led presentations on safe and effective dog-to-dog introductions, reading advanced canine body language, ethical considerations around behavioral euthanasia, and defensive handling techniques. Attendees will leave with practical tools to better assess behavior, support safe interactions, and make informed, compassionate decisions for the dogs in their care.
