The Shoe Tree Listening Room at Arrow Art Annex 1342 St. Louis Street, Springfield, Mo. presents THE MUDHOUNDS https://www.themudhounds.com/ on Saturday, July 19 at 7pm.

The Mudhounds are a Hill Country Blues/Rock artist based in Lafayette, IN. With over-the-top slide guitar licks, droning grooves, and hypnotic boggie rhythms, this is not your grandfather's blues. Mudhound is a slide guitar player that honed his skill through numerous pilgrimages to Clarksdale, Mississippi. The music is a blend between soul-stirring roots of the past and an electrified, supersonic juggernaut. Spill Magazine has called it "fusion of passion, energy and pure musical talent" with "roots as rich as the Delta itself."
The Mudhounds are Jon Phillips (guitar, vocals) Patrick Williamson, (guitar, harmonica) Southside Jimmie Powers (bass) and Garry Trefts, (drums)
