Sunshine Corridor Study Design Charrette

The City is hosting a second round of public engagement for the Sunshine Street Corridor Study with a two-day design charrette Sept. 29 and 30 at Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church (316 E. Sunshine St.).

A charrette is an interactive event that encourages joint problem-solving and consensus-building through brainstorming, discussion and the creation of visual design concepts. General goals of design charrettes are to capture community vision and values, foster positive relationships between stakeholders and produce a clear, realistic direction for continued corridor plan development.

Two drop in opportunities include:

☀️ Monday, Sept. 29 – Drop in anytime between 3:30–7:30 p.m.
☀️ Tuesday, Sept. 30 – Participate from 4–6 p.m., with a formal presentation at 5 p.m.
