In honor of the national day of protest against police brutality on October 22nd, I am hosting a night of protest art, and fundraising for families affected by police violence.
I am looking for acts- poetry, visual art, music, ANYTHING that is related to fighting back against the systems that oppress us. Share your experiences with people ready to act. Come with the names of the pigs from the precinct who unjustly violated your space, or with a song that speaks to the experience of navigating this world in a marginalized body, or a poem for the times. The stage is yours and you deserve to be heard.

I ask for a $5 donation
drinks and treats will be sold
all proceeds will go to a Central IL family who has been affected by police violence.
