The Springfield Park District is proud to announce that PARCX is back again for 2025! Come out and join us for for the most fun you can have on two wheels, or the most fun you can have heckling racers!

What is cyclocross? It's what road cyclists do when the weather gets awful and they want to have fun--stake out a course in a park, and ride around in the rain and mud for an hour, run up hills, slip and slide back down.

Don't have a cyclocross bike? Then you don't have a problem! Ride your gravel bike, mountain bike, or even road bike with skinny knobby tires.

There are categories for everything from first timers up through top category racers. Come out and join us! And stay tuned here, because we're hoping to have some extra fun announcements for the event soon.

New to Cyclocross and don't want your first experience to be in the middle of a race? Keep your eyes peeled, as SBC and the Park District are planning more cyclocross content in the city!
