Now in its 2025 edition, On A Winter’s Night gathers some of the brightest stars of contemporary folk for a special reunion tour that celebrates the season through song. First launched in the 1990s and beloved ever since, this tour has become a touchstone for fans of acoustic music, bringing together extraordinary singer-songwriters in a single, one-of-a-kind evening.
This year’s lineup features four acclaimed voices: Patty Larkin, the trailblazing guitarist and songwriter known for her daring harmonies and poetic lyrics; Cliff Eberhardt, whose soulful voice and finely crafted songs carry both grit and tenderness; John Gorka, celebrated for his warm baritone and storytelling that captures the humor and humanity of everyday life; and Lucy Kaplansky, beloved for her luminous vocals and emotionally rich performances that resonate with honesty and grace. Together they weave a tapestry of winter moods—songs of reflection and remembrance, warmth and humor, quiet beauty and communal joy.
Presented at the HOPE Center for the Arts, On A Winter’s Night finds a natural home in a theater designed for closeness and connection. With its in-the-round intimacy and high fidelity audio, the HOPE Center offers the perfect setting for an evening of music that is both timeless and deeply personal—an invitation to pause, listen, and share in the spirit of the season.
