La Vie en Bleu

La Vie en Bleu began as an informal gathering of musicians in 2021, playing outdoors as an antidote to the pandemic. With the addition of multi-lingual vocalist, Marguerite Suozzo-Golé, the sextet has developed a repertoire that includes world music, jazz, and popular standards in French, Spanish, Italian and English. La Vie en Bleu has performed in neighborhood driveways and house parties in the Pioneer Valley, at Atlas Farms in South Deerfield, and as part of the Kahn Institute series at Smith College.

The group features Luca Capogna, guitar; Matthew Ghazarian, bass; Christopher Golé, piano; Richard Murphy, bass clarinet, alto and baritone saxophone, recorder; Bill Spirer, drums; and Marguerite Suozzo-Golé, vocals.
