Share your input on the first draft of the Illinois Comprehensive Numeracy Plan, created to strengthen math learning for all students.

About this Event

Join leaders from the Illinois State Board of Education to give your input on the first draft of the Illinois Comprehensive Numeracy Plan, a statewide initiative to strengthen math learning and outcomes for all students.

The plan will provide guidance to support educators, schools, and districts in aligning efforts and advancing student success in mathematics.

ISBE welcomes teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, counselors, parents/families, community advocates, and other education leaders and practitioners to provide feedback and directly inform the final plan.

Venue Information

ROOM LOCATION:

  • 4th floor, conference rooms 4A & 4B

DIRECTIONS:

  • Vehicle: If you are driving, type “100 North First Street Springfield, IL” into Google Maps or your preferred navigation app.
  • Train: The Amtrak station is one block east of the Springfield office at 100 North Third Street.
  • Bus: Greyhound Bus Lines is located one mile east of the Springfield office at 111 South 11th Street.

PARKING:

  • Parking Lots and Ramps: Most lots are privately owned and operated. Rates vary.
  • On-Street Parking: Two, five and nine-hour parking meters are available around the building. Meters are $.50 per hour, however at times, the city does not charge for parking meters. (You may want to check with the City of Springfield or someone in the Springfield ISBE Office to determine whether or not you need to pay the meter.) Whether you pay or not, you need to adhere to the time limits of the parking meter and move your car to another block. Crossing to the other side of the street isn't considered leaving the block. Tickets for illegal parking average from $10 to $250 and double after 14 days, if left unpaid.
