This exhibition is a celebration of vision, memory + creative exchange. Inspired by student art museum field trips, a recent journey to New York City, and the work of artists like Van Gogh, Jasper Johns, Hilma af Klint, Hans Hofmann, Jackson Pollock + Edward Hopper, these paintings transform fleeting moments into layered surfaces.
Using encaustic, oil + cold wax, I reimagine photographs through texture, color + abstraction. As both artist and educator, I see art as a living dialogue.
Art is a conversation—between artist + student, memory + material, viewer + image. Symbiosis of Sight invites you into that conversation.

In the Lower Level Gallery, 10 artists are featured in the “Bridging Form & Figure” group show. This exhibition invites you to explore the dialogue between the human presence and the spaces we inhabit and create. The show delves into how artists interpret the human form- its inherent structures, emotions, and narratives- or the built environments that shape our lives- from the defining presence of architectural structures to the quiet solitude of an interior.
