Artist Talks at the Fox with Juan Garaizabal

In celebration of the Route 66 Centennial, Sculpture Walk Springfield and Rotary Clubs of Springfield have commissioned internationally recognized Spanish artist Juan Garaizabal to create Ghost of the Colonial Hotel, an illuminated sculpture honoring the historic hotel that once stood at Birthplace Plaza.

Best known for his Urban Memories series, Garaizabal creates monumental light-based works that revive lost architectural forms around the world.

Join us to learn about the upcoming project, his process, and the power of preserving architectural memory through public art.
