📖 Be the Reason Someone Learns to Read 🌟
Looking for a way to make a lasting impact? Volunteer as a reading tutor and help a child or adult unlock the power of literacy—one lesson at a time.
Join us for our One-to-One Reading Tutor Training on Saturday, August 16, and discover how your time, compassion, and encouragement can change a life. No teaching experience required—just a heart to help.
📅 Date: Saturday, August 16
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Location: Midtown Carnegie Branch Library – Conference Room
📍 Address: 397 E Central St, Springfield, MO 65802
Through our One-to-One Reading Tutoring Program, you'll be paired with a learner who needs extra support developing their reading skills. We’ll give you all the training and resources you need, and you’ll have the option to tutor in person or online.
Here’s what one of our tutors recently shared:
“It has been a great pleasure to watch her grow into a young lady who is witty, sassy, creative, and humorous. She has grown so much in her reading, and I am proud to say I have been a part of her journey.”
✨ You could be the next person to make that kind of impact.
