2025 Springfield BridgeWalk

The Springfield BridgeWalk is a few weeks away on Saturday, August 30th. We will assemble at the Springfield Plaza FedEx at 09:30 and step off at 10:00 to walk across the Springfield Veterans Bridge arriving at American Legion Post 176.

Since 2009, the Fort Belvoir Garrison, Franconia-Springfield area residents, local organizations, businesses and elected officials have walked across the Veterans Bridge from Springfield Plaza to American Legion Post 176 to commemorate the renewal of the United States Army’s Community Covenant. The short walk ends with a community celebration featuring refreshments and entertainment.
