2025 Champion City Wiener Dog Races

Raise your paw if you're ready for another mad dash across the finish line!

Join us for the 2025 Champion City Wiener Dog Race on Saturday, September 20 at National Road Commons Park, Springfield, OH.

This event takes place as part of MustardFEST and is free to attend.
Registration begins at 2:30 PM with race's beginning at 4:00 PM.

RULES
+Any dachshund of the "low to the ground" variety may enter.
+Owners must sign a waiver indicating that all shots are up to date.
+The race is FREE.
+Two handlers per dog - one at the start, one at the finish.
+You may use toys to get your doxie's attention, but may not throw balls.
+The race is approximately 25 yards. We will have preliminary heats, then a final race.
+Wieners should be on their best behavior - unruly competitors may be asked to leave.
+Rubbin' is racin' - no official lanes, every dog for her or himself!
+Treats, prizes and doggie bandanas will be awarded!
