StoryCorps & UPR Fundraiser

Join Utah Public Radio for a special party and fundraising event at the Bit & Spur in Springdale! The evening will include a catered Bit & Spur dinner, live music by Greg Istock of 3hattrio, and a Q&A with our special StoryCorps guests.

Since 2005, the StoryCorps Mobile Tour has set out on road trips across the United States to collect stories from people in every corner of the country. You hear snippets of these recordings on Utah Public Radio, and now, their famous Airstream trailer “StoryBooth” will be in St. George, UT throughout May collecting stories from Southern Utah residents, including a stop in Springdale May 6-7. The story facilitators will join us at this event, and we hope you will too!

As UPR faces uncertainty for the future of federal funding, aging infrastructures, and other challenges, we’re putting together a “Rainy Day Fund”. You can help by attending this event!
