Practicing the Big First Step: Round-Up for Our Littlest Bears!
Starting school and saying goodbye to family, especially for the very first time, can be a big transition for our youngest students. It’s completely normal for little ones to feel nervous or shed a few tears. That’s exactly why we host this special event: to help ease those first-day jitters and give students a chance to practice what it feels like to leave their parents and join their class.
During our Round-Up event, students will:
Practice saying goodbye to their family and walking with their teacher
Line up and walk to their classroom with their class
Complete a fun welcome activity with their teacher
Learn how to “catch a bubble” and show their “Cub tails” as they walk in a quiet line
End with a walk to the gym, where they’ll be happily reunited with their families!
When: August 12th, 10:00am - 11:30am
Who? Pre-K and Kindergarten Students

This practice run helps build comfort and confidence before the first day of school—and it’s a special memory in the making. We can’t wait to round up our littlest Cubs for the very first time! 💛
Note: Due to the capacity in our gym, please limit the attendance to guardians only as much as possible.
