Weekly Road Cycling Skills & Speed Ride
Join us for a structured weekly group ride designed for road cyclists who want to improve speed, efficiency, and group riding skills. The ride takes place on a 5-mile loop, which we will repeat 4–5 times for a total of 20–25 miles.
Average Pace: 14–16 mph
Rolling Pace: ~18 mph
Format: Group paceline riding with a focus on smooth rotations and steady effort
This ride is perfect for cyclists looking to:
✅ Build and sustain higher speeds in a group setting
✅ Improve drafting, paceline etiquette, and smooth pulls
✅ Practice safe and efficient turns
✅ Learn to ride both with and against traffic
✅ Close gaps in the peloton without surging
We emphasize steady effort, communication, and teamwork—minimizing sudden accelerations to keep the group together while still working to push the pace.
All riders should be comfortable riding in a group, holding a straight line, and signaling intentions. This is a no-drop ride, but riders are expected to contribute to the group effort.
