Exciting new announcement: Westonka Rotary is now a breakfast club and a lunch club!
We want to share more about Rotary, our local Westonka Club and our new schedule. Please consider this message an invitation to come join us as a guest for an upcoming meeting to learn more.
Westonka Rotary has always been a lunch club. Twice a month we gathered for lunch at The Lafayette Club for our club meeting and to hear presentations from local residents, non-profits and businesses. We have heard from several interested members that attendance at a lunch club can be a challenge for those who reside in the Westonka area but do not work in the immediately surrounding community. With the hope of offering flexibility to these commuters as well as appealing to a larger population we have an exciting new announcement: Westonka Rotary is now a breakfast club and a lunch club!
Starting in August:
The 1st Tuesday of each month our meeting will be breakfast meetings at Cabana Anna’s, and the 3rd Tuesday of each month our meetings will remain lunch meetings at The Lafayette Club.
Please join us for breakfast as our guest on Tuesday, August 5th at 7:30AM to learn more about Westonka Rotary. The meeting and breakfast will be at Cabana Anna’s in Spring Park and Jessica Hill will be presenting on the Spirit of The Lakes Festival.
If lunch fits better with your schedule, please join us for lunch as our guest on Tuesday August 19th at 11:45AM to learn more about Westonka Rotary. The meeting and lunch will be at The Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach and Sandy Bruanstein, National Guard Veteran and amputee will give a presentation on overcoming challenges and the mantra “live not just survive”.
