The Spokane Permaculture Symposium brings together the Spokane permaculture community along with people interested in learning more about permaculture to incorporate into the gardening, farming, restoration and community work. The focus area is the City of Spokane, Spokane County and the Spokane River watershed.
This free event begins on Saturday 8/16/25 from 9am - 5pm and continues on Sunday 8/17/25 from 12pm - 4pm at the Shadle Park Library in Spokane, WA where there will be many speakers presenting on topics such as:
Regeneration
Permaculture
Bioregional Planning
Disaster Preparedness
Reducing Wildfire Hazard
Increasing local food production
Watershed health
Access to land
Community gardens and food forests
Building local economies
And much more!
Following the symposium at the library on Saturday, there will be a campout at Heartsong in Tumtum, WA until 11am on Sunday morning 8/17. Register to reserve your spot. No pets or children please. Dinner and breakfast provided and potluck donations are welcome.
