Pop and Drop Soups with Jamie Aquino

This delicious soup class features six recipes you can make ahead of time! Just prep the bases, pop into the freezer, then drop into boiling water with a few fresh veggies for a fast and fabulous made-from-scratch meal!

You will learn how to create the concentrated flavor compounds for each soup base, how to portion, store properly, and finish the final product. These compounds take up very little space in your freezer, but are big on flavor!

On the menu: French Onion Soup with a Cheesy Crostini, Tomato Barley Stew, Tortilla Soup with fresh lime and cilantro, Caramelized Leek Soup, Smoky Split Pea, and Veggie Chili.

Class style: Entertainment. This is an entertainment style class with no hands-on participation.
