On Tuesday, July 8, we invite our community to come together for a special evening at the Garland Theater in honor of the firefighters who lost their lives—and those still fighting to recover—after the recent tragic ambush in Coeur d’Alene.
This is not just a movie night. It’s a time to stand in unity, show support, and raise funds for the families impacted by this unthinkable act.
Backdraft is a movie that honors the courage of firefighters—those who run toward danger when the rest of us run away.
🧡 IN MEMORY AND SUPPORT
We are heartbroken over the June 2025 shooting that claimed the lives of two respected heroes:
— Battalion Chief Frank Harwood, Kootenai County Fire & Rescue
— Battalion Chief John Morrison, Coeur d’Alene Fire Department
Engineer David Tysdal, also of Coeur d’Alene Fire, remains hospitalized in critical condition.
This senseless act has shaken our region. Now it’s our chance to show up for those who have given everything.
