It’s the 40th anniversary of ArtFest. Spokane’s largest juried art and fine craft fair will once again fill the beautiful park-like grounds of the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture in historic Browne’s
Addition with art, music, food, and family fun, May 30-June 1. For many Spokanites, this festival marks the beginning of summer.
Recognized year-after-year by Inlander readers as the #1 Best Art Festival, ArtFest serves the Inland Northwest community and visitors to Spokane with a multisensory feast of art and culture.
This year’s festival features:
- 75 art and fine craft booths featuring juried regional artists
- Live music and entertainment daily in the amphitheater, with performances by Based Fiasco, August to August, Milonga, Aspen Kye, and more
- Nine local food trucks serving up delicious eats, from gourmet grub to pizza and ice cream
- Beer garden offerings by BrickWest Brewing Co. and Townshend Wines
- Hands-on Make-It Art Kids’ projects led by local artist Gloria Fox
ArtFest admission is just $5 per person (free for children 5 and under, and a maximum of $20 for families of four or
more). Admission includes access to artists’ booths; a full entertainment schedule featuring regional musicians,
bands, and other performers; and unlimited access to the museum. (It will be the community’s last chance to see the
MAC’s extremely popular exhibition, Samurai, Sunrise, Sunset, which closes on June 1.)
All art sales go directly to participating artists.
