Magic Academy - Learn to Play: Deck Building

New to Magic and need some pointers about one of the most complex games in the world? Stop on in and we'll talk to you about Deck Building!

There's tons of ways to play and each way is going to have unique deck building techniques. From the 40 card decks that we use when we draft on Friday Nights to the 60 card decks for well known formats like Modern, Standard, or Legacy, to the 100 card decks of Commander and Canadian Highlander, we can show you tips and tricks to fine tune your deck!

There is no cost for this event and we strongly encourage new players to come in! We're hoping to have a few seasoned card players around to help out, too!

If you're a new player, you will get a free Play Booster Pack of Spider-man for coming in! If you're a more seasoned player, you will get a pack of Spider-man for bringing in someone new! New players, we'll get you new accounts so you can get logged into our Event Link app and be able to join ANY of our magic events going forward!

We start at 1pm, but you can come and go as you please; we'll be teaching people off and on until 5pm when we get ready for Commander Night, which you are invited to stay and join!
