✂️McClung Memorial Bandshell Ribbon Cutting *Spearfish City Park*

Join us as we celebrate the opening of the McClung Bandshell in the Spearfish City Park!

This will also be the first performance of the 2025 Canyon Acoustic Series hosted by Spread the Tunes!

This is a FREE event and open to all ages! Live music performed by Mark Joseph & The American Soul, food trucks and a night to remember as we celebrate the opening of the bandshell.

The original stage, formally known as the McClung Memorial Theater, was built in the 1960's. Not only was the original stage out of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, but it also had significant wear and tear including the sinking of the foundation, wiring that was outdated along with concrete that was cracking. The new McClung Bandshell was completed in 2025 through a joint partnership between Spread the Tunes, which is a local non-profit, and the City of Spearfish.
