The Lion in Winter
It’s Christmas in 1183, and the royal family is gathering — but peace on Earth is not on the agenda. King Henry II, his fierce and clever queen Eleanor (freshly released from house arrest), and their three power-hungry sons all have different ideas about who should wear the crown. Add in a scheming young king of France and a castle full of secrets, and you’ve got a holiday reunion full of wit, betrayal, and unexpected laughs.
Brought to life by our talented local cast, The Lion in Winter is a smart, sharp, and surprisingly funny drama about family, power, and what happens when royalty behaves just like the rest of us.
