On Sunday September 28th we have a 6.3 mile circular walk round Kelsale and North Green.
This is a repeat of Mary's first walk, three years ago. We will see some changes, but mostly, thankfully, the same views.
We leave Kelsale via the churchyard and Tiggins Lane to take paths towards Yoxford. Here we will pass construction of a Solar Farm and then see progress on the works for the Yoxford roundabout as part of Sizewell C. Reaching Rookery Farm and crossing meadows to then cross the railway we have our old familiar paths. On quiet roads through East Green and paths we return to Kelsale.
Additional Notes:
Cattle usually present on the meadows and it can be muddy. Two railway crossings over stiles.
As always, anyone is welcome on this walk and there is no charge*. You can bring your (well-behaved) dog but we do ask that you keep them on a lead. There is no need to book, just be ready to start at 10 o'clock, wear suitable footwear and bring some refreshment.
