General Membership Meeting - Spiritual Father Robert Bouffier

Fr. Robert Bouffier entered the Marianist Novitiate in Rose Hill, VA, in 1966 after graduating from Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY.
He professed his first vows in August 1967 in Charlottesville, VA, and graduated from University of Dayton in 1970. Fr. Bob finished his MA in theology in 1972 and went on to study theology at the Boston College-Andover Newton Joint Doctoral Program.
He was ordained a priest in November 1974. His assignments included teaching in high schools and universities, chaplaincy for troubled children, theatre work as both an actor and director, and ministry in the Brazilian Apostolate of the Archdiocese of Boston.
He is deeply devoted to our Blessed Mother and attributes his love of beauty, art, poetry, and drama to her quiet and powerful influence. He says her example of discipleship has been a guiding light throughout his fifty years of faltering attempts at the most faithful imitation of Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Mary, for the salvation of the world. He is most grateful to all who have walked with him during the years.
