The Penguin Lessons

The Oxton Projection House is pleased to present our next film: The Penguin Lessons 12A (2024).

Based on a true story and the novel by Tom Michell, the film follows a disillusioned Englishman teaching English in an Argentinian school. Expecting an easy life, he finds the nation divided, in the middle of a coup, and the children in the school unteachable. Until he rescues a penguin from an oil spill and brings it back to the school, thus turning his life upside down.
