Mark your calendars! On Thursday, October 30th, Southlake Police & Fire will host our annual Trunk or Treat at DPS Headquarters, 600 State Street (east side of the building).
This year, we are excited to introduce a new Special Abilities Family Hour from 4:00–5:00 p.m. to ensure a fun and welcoming experience for all. Beginning at 5:00 p.m., the event will open to the entire community and continue until 7:00 p.m.
Some of our Dragons with Special Olympics even gave us a hand lifting those giant candy bars!!!
More than 50 local businesses and community partners will be on site, handing out candy in a safe, family-friendly environment alongside your Southlake Police Officers and Firefighters. And of course—what makes Trunk or Treat at DPS so memorable—FULL-SIZE candy bars will be back!
One of the highlights of the evening will once again be our Southlake Firefighters dispensing FULL-SIZE candy bars from the top of a fire engine—sending them down a fire hose into waiting Halloween buckets.
Parking will be available in the nearby Granite parking garage, and nearby streets will be closed to keep the event pedestrian-friendly.
We look forward to another wonderful evening of costumes, candy, and community. Bring your family and join us for one of Southlake’s favorite traditions
