Backflips for Backpacks Returns This Saturday!
Last year, the Rotary Club of Southington proudly partnered with Southington Community Services to distribute backpacks to local families in need. Thanks to your generosity, we now know exactly where those backpacks came from—and the story is heartwarming. 🥰
This Saturday on the Southington Town Green, join us for the third annual Backflips for Backpacks fundraiser, a joyful event that helps provide essential school supplies—backpacks, crayons, markers, notebooks, and more—to children served by Southington Community Services.
This inspiring initiative was started by Evelyn Rose, the daughter of one of our Rotarians, when she was just a young girl. Her mission? To make sure every child starts the school year with the tools they need—and a smile. For every donation or backpack you bring, Evelyn will thank you with a real backflip! 🤸♀️
