Director Robert Zemeckis’s witty comedy-mystery is a dazzling mix of live-action and animation that incorporates beloved cartoon characters from Disney and other studios. Set in a world where cartoon characters and human beings co-exist, WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT stars Bob Hoskins as Eddie Valiant, a private eye in 1930s Los Angeles who gains an unexpected client, cartoon film star Roger Rabbit, who hires the jaded PI to clear his name for the murder of Toontown owner Marvin Acme. Valiant’s twisty Chinatown-inspired investigation winds through a beloved assortment of cartoon characters, ultimately leading to the merciless Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd).
